Cervical screening can be life-saving and the Earls Court Health and Wellbeing Centre team have been urging patients to book their smear tests as part of a national awareness campaign.
Sarah Benge, practice manager, has been leading on the activity and said, “We are driven and passionate to provide cancer awareness and early detection for better health outcomes for our patients. The few minutes that it takes to take cervical screening could save a life. It can help us identify who is more at risk at developing the HPV virus and potentially save thousands of lives.”
“To tackle these barriers and help drive uptake we’ve created a video which we think with help women aged 25 to 64 to better understand how to access, book appointments and the important need to respond to an invite for cervical screening.”
